Nównøis Reimagined: "Like a River" - The Third Mind Remix

I'm thrilled to announce the release of the "Like a River" remix by The Third Mind today. This new version breathes fresh life into the original, adding a unique twist that I'm eager for you all to hear.

I've been contemplating remixes for a while, and sometimes things align perfectly. Social media has its downsides, but it can also be incredibly useful. The Third Mind and I met digitally in a Facebook group. When this Switzerland-based composer reached out, I had no idea what to expect. Just a few weeks later, I heard the remix and thought, "This is a classic case where the remix is better than the original."

I wrote "Like a River" years ago, when motherhood taught me that I couldn't afford to waste time as days became unpredictable and filled with the most beautiful "job." However, learning it took months of struggling, overcommitting to music opportunities while failing to fulfil promises.

This remix creates a musically less experimental, thus more accessible, environment for my moody and personal lyrics and subtly catchy melodies. It's personal, but those who understand the challenge of juggling dual roles in life will likely relate. It’s not just a story; it's a feeling—a glimpse into the madness described in the lyrics just moments before losing control.

The Third Mind has added a layer of complexity to the track, transforming it into something both familiar and entirely new. His touch highlights the remix’s unique vibe, making it essential for anyone who loves a blend of dark pop with cinematic atmospheres.
