EP3 • breakdown is three songs about moments when anxiety stopped being something happening quietly in the background and took over completely.

4am, ott akarok lenni and don’t blame me. come from different moments and different kinds of breakdown — not necessarily the dramatic kind, but the ones where your thoughts get too loud, your body reacts before you can reason with it, or you just desperately want to be somewhere else.

​

ott akarok lenni is also the first song i’m releasing in Hungarian in a long time. somehow it made sense for this particular chapter to contain something in the language i first learned to think and feel in.

​

production-wise, i worked the way i usually do: sampled nøises, restrictions, whatever was available around me, and a lot of instinct. this time the beats came forward a little more, while the vocals were allowed to sit inside them rather than always lead them.

breakdown completes the three-EP series that started with verses and continued through deep conversation.

but it doesn’t complete the story.
